ARTEMIS 1 Launch

NASA ARTEMIS 1 MISSION OVERVIEW

The Artemis 1 mission is a robotic and human moon exploration program led by united states space agency NASA with its three partners:
1: European Space Agency
2: Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency
3:Canadian Space Agency
The work on this program was started on December 2017(Artemis SLS Rocket). This is the first unscrewed integrated flight test of NASA’s Orion Spacecraft and Space Launch System Rocket

MISSION: Going To The Moon And Stay.
With Artemis 1 mission, NASA will land the first woman and first person of color on the moon, using innovative technologies to explore more about the lunar surface than ever before. NASA says that they will collaborate with commercial and international partners and establish the long term presence on the moon. Then they will use what they had learned on and around the moon to take the next giant leap by sending the astronauts to mars. The purpose for launching the Artemis 1 towards moon is for the scientific discovery and inspiration and for the new generation of explorers that is the Artemis 1 Generation. Artemis mission will enable a growing Lunar Economy by fueling new industries, supporting job growth and furthering the demand for skilled workforce. Artemis 1 mission will help us explore more of the moon than ever before with their commercial and international partners. Along the way they will engage and inspire new audience as we are the ‘Artemis Generation’.

HOW THEY ARE GOING TOWORDS MOON
NASA built an Artemis based camp on the surface and the gateway in lunar orbit. These elements will allow our robots and astronauts to explore more and conduct more science than ever before.

ORION SPACE CRAFT
The NASA’s Orion  Space Craft  will carry astronauts from earth farther than  they have ever gone before .Orion will serve as the exploration vehicle that carry the crew to space, provide emergency abort capability, sustain the crew during space travel and provide safe re-entry from deep space return velocity. Orion will be launch on NASA’s new heavy lift rocket, the space launch system.

Exploration Ground System
This structure is made on ground necessary to support launching and recovery of returning astronauts. Exploration Ground System is based at NASA’s Kennedy Space Centre in Florida. EGS was establish to develop and operate  the system and facilities necessary to process and launch Rockets and Spacecraft during assembly transport and launch

GATEWAY
This is the spaceship in the lunar orbit where astronauts will transfer between Orion and the lander on regular Artemis 1 mission. Gateway will remain in the orbit for more than a decade, providing a place to live and work, and supporting long term science and human exploration on and around the moon

Human Landing System
Human Landing system is built by American companies are the final mode of transportation that wily take astronauts from lunar orbit to the surface and back to the orbit

Artemis Base Camp
This will help astronauts a place to live and work on the moon. The Artemis 1 base camp concept includes a modern lunar cabin, a rover and a mobile home.
